From Gaza to Sudan. From Sudan to the entire planet.
I have gathered for you these videos of artists, social movements, and ordinary people from the region and from two countries enduring some of the worst humanitarian tragedies of our time. Missing here are the voices from the Congo, from the province of Cabo Delgado (Mozambique), and certainly from many other war-torn places. Yet, these videos are lessons in life, solidarity, and resistance — from that part of humanity which suffers most under the industries of war, human disposability, and the violation of the lives of women and children.
These voices that comfort one another, that express solidarity — in refugee camps, through displacement, and in creating life amidst ruins — teach us that they seek to save all of our humanity.
Praised be these people who heal us. May we all find the strength to fight and to stand up for their well-being, and for the end of wars.
Enough of discarding lives! We are all part of a single humanity.
