Press Statement Issued by the Three Forces

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Press Statement Issued by the Three Forces: The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine

To Our Proud Palestinian People,

In light of the announcement of the first phase of the agreement to cease and bring an end to the war of extermination, and following the arduous negotiations undertaken by the factions which led to this national achievement, the Three Forces extend their salutations of reverence and appreciation to the masses of our great people, especially to our people in the Gaza Strip, who have faced the most horrific Zionist crimes with legendary steadfastness and resilience.

We also salute all the martyrs and prisoners, their families and the families of the missing, and every child, woman, mother, youth, elder and displaced person who remained steadfast on their land despite the tragedies, genocide, famine, massacres, the suffering of displacement, and the agony of living amid the destruction of life’s basic necessities. We affirm that your steadfastness is a living symbol of the unbreakable will and determination of our people, and the proof that your resolve is stronger than any Zionist machine of destruction.

The steadfastness of the resistance fighters and of all our people — medical personnel, ambulance and civil defence crews, journalists, the displaced and others — has thwarted the plans of displacement and uprooting, and has recorded an immortal lesson of resilience and defiance that will remain inscribed on the brightest pages of Palestinian history. The majestic scenes of our displaced people returning to Gaza City and the great gatherings in its streets, camps and shattered alleyways are nothing but the embodiment of the will of a people who reject forced migration and insist on returning and living on their land despite the vast devastation.

We also praise the heroism of the resistance, which has stood firm amidst the rubble, unwavering before the destructive machinery of the occupation, shaking the morale of the enemy and inflicting heavy losses through its unique operations. We affirm that the will of our people and the heroes of the resistance is stronger than all attempts at subjugation and destruction, and that the enemy has failed, for more than two years, to break the steadfastness and will of this resistance despite all the weaponry and massive, lethal war machine it possesses.

The Three Forces also extend their salutations of pride and honour to the supporting fronts in Yemen, Lebanon, the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq, who have stood by our people and their resistance, offering martyrs on the path to Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa.

The Three Forces further express their deep appreciation for the tremendous efforts made by the brotherly mediators (Egypt, Qatar, Turkey) and all those who supported this course. We call upon the American side and all mediators to continue exerting pressure to ensure the occupation’s commitment to all the terms of the agreement without deviation or negligence.

We deeply value the unprecedented global solidarity movement that has stood by our people, raising its voice in rejection of genocide and in pursuit of justice for the crimes of the occupation. We affirm that the solidarity of the world’s free peoples with Palestine and Gaza is a powerful message that the cause of our people is both a political and humanitarian issue of global concern. This global support represents a significant moral boost for our steadfast people and confirms that the occupation is a rogue, isolated and besieged entity — one that must face mounting and intensifying pressure.

The Forces clarify that, despite the occupation’s persistent attempts to undermine the negotiation process and obstruct the agreement, and despite Netanyahu’s efforts to prolong the war and extinguish any opportunity to halt the aggression, the Palestinian negotiating delegation remained focused on our people’s demands to end the war of extermination. Up to this point, an agreement has been reached to implement the first phase of this process, representing a fundamental step towards our people’s urgent demand: the permanent cessation of the criminal war, the end of aggression against Gaza, the withdrawal of the occupation, and the lifting of the siege.

What has been achieved constitutes a political and security failure of the occupation’s schemes and a defeat of its objectives to impose displacement and uprooting. It is a partial achievement towards ending our people’s suffering and freeing hundreds of our heroic prisoners — men and women — from the prisons of the occupation. This step reflects the steadfastness of the resistance, the unity of our national position, and the determination of our people to attain their freedom and dignity.

When we embarked upon this negotiation process in the midst of a war of extermination, our eyes were fixed upon the suffering of our people, who have faced unprecedented horrors of killing, destruction, genocide and starvation. We acted out of a profound sense of national responsibility, despite the extent of the occupier’s bias, in order to open a new horizon for life in Gaza and for our steadfast people rooted there. The negotiation process and the mechanism for implementing the agreement still require high national vigilance and continuous, rigorous monitoring to ensure the success of this phase. We will continue to work responsibly with the mediators to ensure that the occupation is held accountable for protecting our people’s rights and ending their suffering.

We have exerted great and strenuous efforts to secure the release of all prisoners — women, men and leaders of the national prisoners’ movement. However, the occupation, as usual, thwarted the release of a large and significant number of them. Nevertheless, we have decided to proceed with the implementation of the agreement in a way that guarantees an end to the war of extermination against our people and prevents the enemy from continuing its genocide. We pledge to our people and to the families of the prisoners that the issue of liberating all detainees will remain at the top of our national priorities and that we will never abandon them. We also congratulate our people on the freedom of this blessed group of prisoners and heroes.

To Our Steadfast People,

This phase represents an opportunity to strengthen social solidarity in the Gaza Strip, supporting affected families, ensuring daily needs, and activating frameworks of cooperation among factions, the community, and relevant local and international institutions. This will create a resilient and unified environment capable of confronting all challenges and preserving our people’s steadfastness.

We renew our call for unity and national responsibility to embark on a unified national political path with all forces and factions. In cooperation with Egypt’s generous efforts, we are working to convene a comprehensive and urgent national meeting for the next step after the ceasefire. This will unify the Palestinian position, formulate a comprehensive national strategy, and rebuild our national institutions on the basis of partnership, credibility and transparency.

We also reaffirm our absolute rejection of any foreign guardianship and affirm that determining the form of governance in the Gaza Strip and the foundations of its institutions is a Palestinian internal matter, to be decided jointly by our national components. We are ready to benefit from Arab and international participation in reconstruction, recovery, and development support, which will provide a dignified life for our people and safeguard their rights on their land.

In conclusion, at this crucial historical moment, we renew our loyalty to the martyrs, prisoners, wounded, and resistance fighters. We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to our people’s rights to their land, homeland, holy sites and dignity, and our determination to continue the resistance in all its forms until our full rights are achieved — foremost among them, the end of the occupation, the right to self-determination, and the establishment of a fully sovereign and independent State with Jerusalem as its capital.
