Brothers and sisters,
Ladies and gentlemen,
Distinguished guests,
May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be with you.
Today, our people stand before a significant national milestone represented by the celebration of the Third Forum for Palestinian National Dialogue in Istanbul on November 14, 2025, with the broad participation of Palestinian and Arab figures from twenty-eight countries, as well as an elite group of academics and media professionals from within and outside Palestine.
This forum is the result of a joint effort among the four parties that together form the core of the Palestinian National Forum, whose visions and roles are consistent and complementary in building a comprehensive national framework. This includes the Palestinian Union for Latin America (UPAL), which represents one of the main pillars of this forum, with its extensive experience and strong presence in Latin America, and with the political, popular, and media support it provides to the cause of our people.
These four parties, whose heart is the Latin American Palestinian Federation, together represent a solid core of a collective national effort that seeks to reorganize the role of Palestinian popular forces in the diaspora, improve the participation of communities in national decision-making, and establish a new model of national partnership based on effective, networked integration between the interior and the exterior.
Therefore, our participation in this forum is not merely in terms of attendance, but as an essential component of this national axis, contributing to the formulation of its vision, developing its tools, and promoting the unification of efforts to confront the great challenges surrounding our cause.
In light of the political threats and constant aggression to which our people are exposed, the need for a genuine national dialogue is evident today. This dialogue must restore consensus and present practical initiatives that translate into applicable measures.
Hence the importance of this forum as a comprehensive framework that brings together national forces, grassroots organizations, community representatives, and experts from diverse fields.
We, in the Palestinian National Forum, along with the Latin American Palestinian Federation and the other components of this axis, affirm a set of basic principles that we believe constitute the foundation of any joint national action:
1. Strengthening national unity as the primary guarantee for protecting the national project.
2. To revitalize the role of the Palestinian diaspora as an indispensable political, popular, and media force.
3. To launch agreed-upon national initiatives that express the highest interests of our people and unite rather than divide.
4. To link the forum’s outcomes to clear implementation mechanisms that ensure the recommendations do not remain mere titles, but rather become practical steps that translate into reality.
The Latin American Palestinian Federation, as one of the four parties to this forum, is committed to working with its partners to transform this forum into a crucial stepping stone toward broader national action and a comprehensive framework that unlocks the energy of our people wherever they may be.
In conclusion, we hope that this forum will constitute a new step on the path to freedom, dignity, and justice for our people, that it will strengthen the position of the Palestinian question in the global consciousness, and that it will open new doors for joint action between our people at home and in the diaspora.
May God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be with you.
