Leader Badran: The launch of Hamas is the culmination of the path of our people’s struggle and their quest to liberate their land
Member of the Hamas Political Bureau, Hossam Badran, confirmed that Hamas came in the midst of major transformations to add a qualitative shift in the history of the conflict with the Zionist occupation.
Badran pointed out, on the thirty-eighth anniversary of the launch of the movement, that the launch was the culmination of the path of struggle of our Palestinian people, and an expression of their constant striving to liberate their land and sanctities.
He sent greetings and respect to the souls of all the martyrs, our Palestinian people and the martyrs of the movement, especially its great leaders.
He said: “The men and leaders of the movement fought long and protracted battles against the enemy, and they did not hesitate for a single moment from their duty and jihad for the sake of liberating the land.”
Badran added: “The extended convoys of martyrs, and the dates and locations of battles in every inch of the land of Palestine, bear witness to this.”
Badran explained that the movement, since its founding and beginnings, has fought military battles in the arena of confrontation with the enemy directly, political battles, and other battles within the framework of awareness of the narrative and the narrative of liberation.
He noted that the movement stood in the face of all plans that wanted to liquidate the Palestinian cause, and all attempts to sow defeat in the souls of our people.
Badran stressed that Hamas is a Palestinian national liberation movement with its own integrated and civilizational project, which has worked in all fields and fields and left its own mark on the history and present of the Palestinian people.
He recalled the distinctive role played by the movement in the internal Palestinian national arena, and in its clear and authentic vision for dealing with the various components of our Palestinian people.
He stressed the importance of consolidating all efforts and uniting all energies for the greater goal of liberating our land and granting our people their right to self-determination.
Badran reiterated the movement’s firm and permanent position, based on its intellectual and political convictions, of the necessity of joint Palestinian action.
He said: “Our hands are extended and our hearts are open to all components, factions and forces of our Palestinian people, to reach national consensus to confront the challenges and obstacles that the occupation imposes on all of us.”
Badran added: “We will remain loyal, and we will continue our path of struggle and jihad in confronting the Zionist project in Palestine, and working to build a Palestinian state worthy of the sacrifices of our great people.”
He pointed out that Hamas will continue its national effort to organize the capabilities of the Palestinian people, ensure their national unity, and provide everything necessary for that, adding: “We will not stop for a single moment on this path, and we are ready to go to any comprehensive national agreement that achieves the aspirations and hopes of our Palestinian people.”
