Trump, Latin America and Gaza: Power Disguised as Security

Security or control?

Donald Trump’s narrative revolves around the fight against drug trafficking, but the target is not only drugs. It is about power over that territory and influence through governments that obey the agenda of the global far right.
Brazil is not a major producer, but it is strategic. Trafficking routes, vast borders, the Amazon: all paths run through Brazil. And the White House demands alignment. Joint operations, data sharing, DEA presence.
All under the pretext of “security”.
In Gaza, the narrative is the “terrorist threat”. In Latin America, it is “drug trafficking”.
